You ever had one of those days where you feel like there’s just not enough time in the day? Or, maybe you have those days all the time? What about if you’re trying to build a business? There is NEVER enough time in the day, right? You have extremely too much on your plate, who has time to build a business?
You have to make sure the kids are off to school, go to work, make sure the kids get home and do their homework, then the kids activities, go to church, work on other projects, travel out of town, and the list goes on . If that’s you…I get It. Just a couple years ago, I had so much going on but also wanted to have success In my business.
I was running a very successful entertainment business while working AND going to school full-time. I may not have kids, but that was ALOT on my plate, especially at my young age. But, all that changed when the economy started declining and so did my business. Shortly after that, I was introduced to the Home-Based Business industry from a friend of mine and I took immediate action. I remember working literally sun up until sometimes into the next day to make that business work. I was constantly prospecting on the phone, setting up meetings all day everyday, going to different places trying to meet new people, and sometimes multiple presentations every day of the week. Not to mention I was constantly traveling to different states several days a week doing presentations for my team. This is supposed to help me live free but I thought to myself, where is the freedom in this?

It was then that I realized something had to change. Ironically, that same day, I saw one of my mentors post how he had recruited 132 people in his Home Based Business all off Facebook. No home meetings, no hotel presentations, nothing. I just KNEW that’s what I needed to learn in order to gain the freedom I desired. I reached out to him and here are the four things he explained to me that allowed me to put my business on autopilot:
Identify Your Target Audience
You need to identify who you want your potential customer or client to be. What do they look like, where do they shop, what do they read, are they married, income status, whats their gender, demographic, age, etc. Most people come online trying to sell to EVERYBODY and that’s where they make the mistake. That’s why you need to be specific in who you are trying to sell to. For example, if you are in Network Marketing, you can target people who have business experience or looking to start a business. Or, if you have a product or service that has to do with planting, you should target people who love gardening. Whatever your product or service is, you need to make sure it gets in front of the right people.
Create a Lead Magnet
Or as some like to call it, a “bribe.” Now that you have identified your target audience, you want to offer them something free of value in exchange for their information. It could be something like an eBook, audio, a course you created, article, report, video, etc. It doesn’t matter as long as it’s valuable. Once you decide on what to give away you need to create a Capture Page to put this offer “behind.” For example, Below you can see some examples of different lead magnet (or Sales Funnel) that we’ve created for a clients and ourselves:
This is they way to go… lead in with value and get the leads. The days of sending people straight to your website is coming to an end. Now here is the deal, you can’t just have any old capture page. You must have key elements in place to capture the most leads. First, you must have a compelling, emotional, and very specific type of headline for your free offer (or lead magnet). Secondly, your color scheme and designs should be congruent with what you have to offer. Something that I’ve learned that can help as well is, audio’s and videos on capture pages are converting way higher than those with no sound.
Get People To The Capture Page
Now you have your target audience and lead magnet.. now what? One way to get traffic to the capture page is by creating content. This can be things like a video or a blog and at the end of it, have a call to action for them to visit your site aka your capture page.

Put Your Business on Autopilot
Now that you have captured their Information this is where the automation process begins. It’s not time for you to create more leverage to work less, and make more money. First you need an email auto-responder like Aweber (Try it free for 30 days on me!). Then, you need to implement a follow up sequence to your list (the people whose information you captured). A follow up sequence is pre-written emails that you are able to send to the leads once they have given you their information. You send these on automation to your potential customer in order to lead them towards pleasure or their desired outcome, and away from their pains. Once you can do that, you now can offer them your products, services, opportunities, or anything else because now you have their trust. If you have the right copy written in your emails and your products or services are over delivering in value, you could start to create sales on 100{9c07b6efe7cbd1d52fea14c4565a33236322ca35bce86e7ebdfaac3636adbd59} auto pilot!
Once I mastered these 4 things, I was able to get the freedom I always desired AND was still able to run a successful business. I mastered it so much so, that I was able to run my business on complete autopilot while being out living the life i deserved!
